A light rail

The upcoming Train (writer/director Gideon Raff, set for an unspecified 2008 release) was originally intended as a remake of a Canadian slasher flick, Roger Spottiswoode's 1980 debut (really?) Terror Train. Since that boardroom pitch, it's diverged almost completely – from all descriptions, it now seems to be a 90-minute extension of the train sequence from Hostel Part II, though we can still hold out hope for David Copperfield to reprise his cameo. Train would now seem to retain from the original only the locomotive locale and protagonist name, with Thora Birch now essaying Alana Maxwell, the former Jamie Lee Curtis role.

Which is not to say I'm giving Train any credit for originality.
